Most bathroom infrared lamps are built for one thing: getting you warm, fast. But there’s a catch. Standard halogen bulbs tend to blast out a lot of visible light and near-infrared rays. It’s that harsh, blinding glare we’ve all experienced. For adults, it’s annoying. For babies, whose eyes are still developing, it can actually be pretty stressful. Instead of using a basic quartz tube, we use special coatings and filtered quartz to kill off that sharp “blue light” peak.
